A Christian chief of a village in Africa reads from the Bible to an audience gathered around him for his inaugural ceremony

Help the Lost Become Children of God in Africa

November 24

A native worker was recently installed as chief of a village, and he wanted a Christ-centered inauguration, so the leader of his organization preached and prayed for him at the ceremony. “Over 650 people came, and they were all amazed that we did this the Christian way,” the leader said. “I asked if they wanted to enter the kingdom and become a child of God, and it was as if the whole village raised their hands and prayed the sinner’s prayer with me.” He arranged for area pastors to follow up and involve them in their churches. Workers need donations of $25 or $50 to carry out such evangelism and discipleship. Pray the love among churches will draw more people to Christ.
