Among refugees arriving in great need, native Christian workers often learn about women who have suffered abuse. A mother with a child was dependent for her survival on a relationship with a man who was so violent that workers feared he was trafficking her. Workers provided food for her and her son and arranged for them to live in a hostel. The ministry has groups for Arabic- and Farsi-speaking women for sharing and prayer, helping them break free of trauma and experience restoration. Workers need donations of $35 or $70 to provide such humanitarian aid to refugees. Pray for more refugees to recover and find healing in Christ.
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28)
