Enable Workers to Share the Gospel in Burma

December 7

In an area where the people were known for their cruelty and opposition to the gospel, native Christian workers found cyclone damage and military conflict have opened hearts to hearing about Christ. Having planted churches in rural villages for nearly 30 years, workers are also eager to establish congregations in a city. “There is a proverb that states, ‘To be Burmese is to be Buddhist,’ and I challenged key leaders and churches to spend our main strength to plant churches,” the ministry director said. Workers need donations to proclaim Christ and follow up with new believers. Pray the Lord will send qualified people to plant churches among tribal people.

“But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.” (Luke 6:35)
