Refugees from Iraq and Syria are receiving badly needed packages of food, water and medical supplies from native Christian workers, who also provide coupons for fruits and vegetables for each family. “The stories of these individuals and families are a testament to their strength and God’s hand of protection,” the ministry leader said. “We pray we can share God’s love to them in a way they understand.” The gospel opportunities arising from food distribution have led to the formation of 10 house groups of Iraqi and Syrian families studying the Bible. Workers need donations of $35 or $70 to supply such aid to refugees. Pray the Lord will provide strength, hope and grace to refugees.
