Peruvian missionary reads a passage of the Bible to a man in the woods

Enable Evangelistic Outreach in Peru

October 27

A woman who accepted Christ at one of the churches of a native ministry shared the gospel with her husband for years, but he was not interested. Her death left the 60-year-old widower in a remote village in the Andes deeply anguished, and the gospel seed planted in him began to germinate. “He attended a spiritual retreat organized by our congregation where the Word of God broke his heart, and he decided to give his life to our Lord Jesus Christ,” the ministry leader said, adding that the man now accompanies the local worker to visit homes with the gospel. Workers need donations for such evangelistic outreach and discipleship. Pray for effective worker Bible studies and safe travels.

“And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.” (Mark 16:20)
